Terms and Conditions Of Use​​

The services we provide via our newsletters, websites, programmes, online or in-person platforms, channels, forums, and events are collectively referred to as the Ctrl+Shft Programmes (“C+S Programmes”).
 

The C+S Programmes and all associated Intellectual Property are owned and operated by Online Safety Pty Ltd, ABN 64685286891, trading as Ctrl+Shft.
 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Service”) govern your registration for any C+S Programmes.
 

Suppose you accept these Terms of Service on behalf of an organisation or other legal entity (whether as an authorised employee or agent). In that case, you represent that you have the authority to bind such an entity and its affiliates to these Terms of Service, in which case the terms “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity.
 

Please read these Terms of Service carefully and contact us hello@ctrlshft.global if you have any questions before signing up for any C+S Programme or engaging with our services.
 

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS:
 

By accessing, using, or signing up for any C+S Programme, you acknowledge that you have understood these Terms of Service and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms of Service, do not access, use, or sign up for any C+S Programme.

You must be at least eighteen to sign up for any C+S Programme. If under eighteen, you must contact us first at hello@ctrlshft.global to discuss the nature of your access to the programme.
 

Suppose these Terms of Service are updated or modified. In that case, we will notify you via ctrlshft.global or email, and you will be responsible for deciding whether to continue your participation in C+S Programmes.
 

CONTENT ACCURACY DISCLAIMER:
 

The information, resources, and materials provided within any C+S Programme are factual to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. However, given the evolving nature of digital safety and cyber trends, the content may not always reflect the most current developments or updates.
 

SIGNING UP:
 

To access any C+S Programme, register to become a member by creating a user account (“User Account”) and paying the relevant registration fee specified on ctrlshft.global.
 

Organisations, including schools, can register interest in any C+S Programme by emailing at hello@ctrlshft.global.
 

Upon full payment of the relevant fees (“C+S Programme Fees”), we will provide access to the C+S Programme via a User Account. You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and promptly update any changes. Our use of the information you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy available on ctrlshft.global.
 

We may verify your identity or your organisation’s eligibility at our discretion and may request further information, such as a form of identification.

You agree to:
 

●  Not create more than one User Account without written permission.

●  Not create accounts for individuals or entities that are not you or that are not controlled by you without written permission.

●  Not pass yourself off as another user.

●  Protect and keep confidential your User Account information, including passwords and activities within your account.

●  Notify us immediately if there is unauthorised use of your account.
 

RENEWAL:
 

For subscription-based C+P Programmes, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription term unless cancelled beforehand. Renewal fees are charged according to the terms set forth at the time of subscription.
 

CTRL+SHFT PROGRAMMES:
 

After payment of relevant Fees, access is granted to various programme materials, including written content, audio, video, seminars, workshops, and tools (“Programme Materials”). These materials and content provided in the C+S Programmes:
 

●  Are for general information purposes.

●  Are curated at our discretion.

●  Do not constitute specialised, legal, or therapeutic advice.

●  Are not affiliated with any accredited institution.
 

CONFIDENTIALITY:
 

Any content, discussions, or materials within C+S Programmes are confidential and proprietary. You agree not to disclose, share, or reproduce any materials or information shared within the C+S Programmes without our express written permission.
 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
 

Online Safety Pty Ltd, trading as Ctrl+Shft, including their officers, employees, and agents, make no warranties, guarantees, or representations regarding the effectiveness or outcomes of any C+S Programme. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Online Safety Pty Ltd, trading as Ctrl+Shft assume no liability whatsoever for any actions, decisions, damages, injuries, losses, or harm, including but not limited to death, arising from or related to the use, misuse, or reliance on any information, resources, or services provided within any C+S Programme.
 

You agree that you will not make decisions or take action based solely on the materials or resources provided in any C+S Programme, as they are intended for informational purposes only and not as a substitute for professional advice.
 

PROHIBITED CONDUCT:
 

You agree that, in using the C+S Programmes, you will not:
 

●  Access or use the programmes in violation of any applicable laws or these Terms of Service.

●  Transmit unsolicited emails, junk mail, or spam.

●  Modify, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the C+S Programmes.

●  Harvest or collect information from other users without consent.

●  Engage in any behaviour deemed fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful to the reputation of C+S Programmes.
 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
 

All intellectual property associated with C+S Programmes, including but not limited to text, graphics, code, videos, trademarks, and logos, is the exclusive property of Online Safety Pty Ltd trading as Ctrl+Shft or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content from the C+S Programmes without our prior written consent.
 

 

FEES:
 

Fees payable for C+S Programmes will be provided via email or ctrlshft.global. Some C+S Programmes are provided on a subscription basis, while others may require a one-time payment or a non-subscription-based fee.
 

All fees:
 

●  Are in AUD, exclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.

●  Are non-refundable once registration is confirmed.
 

SUBSCRIPTIONS, AUTO-RENEWALS, AND PAYMENTS:
 

For subscription-based C+S Programmes, by subscribing, you agree to pay the specified subscription fee. Auto-renewals will occur at the end of each subscription term unless cancelled in writing prior to renewal. Payments may include options such as credit card, debit card, or PayPal.

DISCLAIMER:
 

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, and representations regarding your access to and use of the C+S Programmes that are not expressly set out in these Terms of Service. All Programme Materials are provided as education and general information only and should not be taken or relied upon as professional advice.
 

We accept no liability for content posted or communicated by other users within the C+S Programmes, nor do we take responsibility for actions taken based on information from the C+S Programmes. Users are encouraged to seek professional advice for any specific needs.
 

LIMITATION OF REMEDIES: In any event of breach, your sole remedy will be limited to re-supply of services or equivalent goods as applicable.
 

GOVERNING LAW:
 

This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be resolved under New South Wales jurisdiction.
